QuiltStash Pro (“QuiltStash Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools for organizing quilting supplies and projects, using quilting calculators, and connecting with other quilters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website and services (collectively, the “Service”).

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Clerk, which provides account authentication and identity services.
• Stripe, which provides payment processing, subscription management, and customer billing tools.
• Replit and its infrastructure providers, which host the application, database, and object-storage services.
• Google services, when used for file storage infrastructure, maps or location features, or advertising on the free tier.
• Other users, when you make a profile or content public, share it with selected users, join a public or private guild, or send a message. Private guild access requires an invitation from the guild owner and acknowledgment of the guild's rules. Public guilds are open to join after acknowledgment of their rules. The guild creator may receive information needed to manage membership, invitations, remove members, or block and unblock users.
• Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer.

4. Content Visibility and Uploaded Files

You control many sharing settings within the Service. Information designated public may be visible to other users or the public. Content shared with selected users or guilds will be available to those recipients. For guild sharing, you may choose all joined guilds or selected guilds. Public guild information may be discoverable and open to join after rules acknowledgment; private guild content and meeting addresses are restricted to members, while limited guild details and rules can be previewed by people with invitations. Members may send invitations only when the guild creator has enabled that option. The guild creator may remove members or block and unblock users, which can end that user's access to guild content. Meeting addresses for public in-person guilds are visible to signed-in users before joining; private guild meeting addresses are shown to members only. Guild creators may publish posts under their guild's name; those posts remain linked to the creator's account for administration. Friends are connections both people have accepted; following someone is a separate choice. Friends-only posts are available to accepted friends whether or not they follow the author. Anyone with an active guild invitation link can preview the guild name, description, and rules before registering, and can choose to join after creating an account and acknowledging the rules. Private guild meeting addresses are not included in those previews. Uploaded files are stored using cloud object storage, and a file may be accessible to anyone who has its direct link. Do not upload sensitive information that you do not want disclosed.

Acknowledgment of guild rules may be associated with the related community feature for purposes of administering access.

5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Advertising

The Service and its providers use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, offline functionality, security, and service operation. Free accounts may see advertising after a trial period. If Google advertising is enabled, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads according to its own policies and available consent controls.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. When you delete your account, we remove your Clerk identity, local profile, quilting records, posts, messages, memberships and uploads, and cancel your Stripe subscription and delete the Stripe customer. A guild with remaining members transfers to another member; a guild without one is removed. Shared conversations and content you created are removed for other members as well. Stripe may retain invoices, transactions and other billing records as required for tax, fraud prevention and legal compliance. Backups and security logs may persist for their normal retention period before being purged. Older uploads not linked to an account record may require a manual privacy request to locate. Because some older uploads do not contain uploader ownership, we only remove one after support verifies an exact file link or path and records evidence tying it to the request. We do not infer ownership from a filename, date, appearance, or an unverified claim.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may update your profile and many records through the Service and manage subscription billing through the customer billing portal. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To submit a privacy request, email info@quiltstashpro.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can permanently delete your account yourself from Settings → Delete account after signing in. If you cannot sign in or deletion fails, email us to request deletion. For older unlinked uploads, include the exact file link or object path and any evidence that identifies it as yours; support will review the match and record the decision before removal.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. United States Operations

QuiltStash Pro operates from Florida, United States. If you access the Service from another location, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Service or by email.
